Yesterday, two Americans found the back of the net abroad....
US midfielder Sacha Kljestan opened up the scoring for Anderlecht, who play in Belgium's top division, with a nicely taken penalty kick. Anderlecht went on to win the game 3-1 to secure their first win of the season. Kljestan got the start and played the full 90 minutes.

Crafty midfielder Mix Diskerud also came up big for his club, Stabaek. Diskerud's 3rd goal of the season tied up the match at 1-1 in the 61st minute. The momentum of Diskerud's finish lifted Stabaek to a 2-1 victory. The 3 points brings Stabaek to 5th place in Norway's top league.
Side Note- Norway is on the same schedule as the MLS so they are about halfway done with their season
